Dumbarton Rock Old Fashioned
Ingredients
50ml Dumbarton Rock Blended Malt
1 Sugar Cube
Few dashes of Orange Angostura Bitters
Few dashes plain water
Method
Place sugar cube in old fashioned glass and saturate with bitters, add few dashes of plain water. Muddle until dissolved. Fill the glass with ice cubes and add whisky and stir gently, then flame with orange zest.
Garnish with a twist of orange zest used for flaming and ice.
Dumbarton Rock Whisky Sour
Ingredients
50ml Dumbarton Rock Blended Malt
1 egg white/ aquafaba (vg)
Juice of 1 lemon
25ml of sugar syrup
Lemon twist for garnish
Method
Add Dumbarton Rock, lemon juice, sugar syrup and egg white/aquafaba to a shaker and shake until well combined (around 30 seconds) Add ice, shake again until chilled. Strain out into a rocks glass and garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
Espresso Rocktini
Ingredients
50ml Dumbarton Rock Blended Malt
25ml Coffee liqueur
Single shot of espresso
25ml Maple syrup
Ice to shake
Coffee beans for garnish
Method
Add Dumbarton Rock, coffee liqueur, espresso and maple syrup to a shaker, along with plenty of ice. Shake vigorously until well chilled. Double strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with coffee beans.
Sunset on the Rock
Ingredients
50ml Dumbarton Rock Blended Malt
25ml Amaretto
3 Dashes orange bitters
Equal parts orange juice & cranberry juice
Orange slice for garnish
Method
Generously fill a highball glass with ice.
Add 3 dashes of orange bitters and gently stir.
Pour in Dumbarton Rock & amaretto and top up with equal parts orange and cranberry juice. Garnish with orange peel and enjoy!
